Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Valyke handles, why we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies when you use Valyke’s website, applications, messaging, Intents, Updates, circles, profiles, notifications, and related services. It does not govern third-party services you choose to visit or use.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We collect account details such as your name, email address, username, password in protected form, profile information, skills, interests, and the content you choose to share. Content may include Intents, Updates, comments, reactions, messages, voice notes, photos, videos, files, feedback, and support requests.

Information created through use

We process connections, followers, circle membership, activity and impact records, notification status, and account settings. We also receive technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, timestamps, request logs, cookie identifiers, crash information, and security events.

Location is processed only when you add it to a profile or Update, or grant a device permission for a feature that clearly requests it.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create, secure, authenticate, and support your account;
  • publish and deliver the content and communications you request;
  • help people discover relevant Intents, Updates, skills, and profiles;
  • operate messaging, circles, notifications, media processing, and search;
  • measure service reliability, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms;
  • respond to feedback, legal requests, and safety concerns; and
  • improve accessibility, localization, and product performance.

Depending on applicable law, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, your consent, legitimate interests in operating a safe service, and legal obligations.

4. How information is shared

Public profile details and content marked public can be seen by other people. Messages and circle content are made available to their participants according to the selected history-sharing settings.

We may share limited information with vendors that host infrastructure, store media, deliver email, translate content, monitor reliability, or otherwise process data for Valyke under contractual safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction with appropriate protections.

Valyke does not sell personal information for money.

5. Retention, deactivation, and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Deactivation blocks sign-in but keeps your account so you can reactivate it with a secure email code.

When you request deletion, access ends immediately. Removing your account, Intents, Updates, comments, reactions, messages, media, and other activity from active Valyke systems may take up to 30 days. We may retain narrowly limited records when required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, or the establishment or defence of legal claims.

6. Your choices and rights

You can update profile information, change privacy and moderation settings, manage notification choices, deactivate your account, or request deletion in Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, portability, restriction, objection, or deletion of personal information and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

7. Security and international processing

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Valyke and its providers may process information in countries other than yours, using safeguards required by applicable law.

8. Children

Valyke is not intended for children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Valyke evolves. We will post the updated effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Contact us at [email protected] with questions.
